The old Black and Green gatherings were the shit. They need to come back. This is probably going to take a few years to get off the ground again, but after the near-immediate shut down of the last one on the West Coast, it seems like they might have to happen on private land. That is kind of a double edged sword for the "owners" of that land, but it's worth kicking the idea around. In the meantime, smaller gatherings can always suffice. Just take notice that the organization of B&G gatherings have been subject to extreme crackdowns, infiltrations, and interventions. I don't believe any arrests were ever made, but they were certainly threatened (all B&G gatherings aside from the first were held in National Forests). So things like final locations are meant to be kept under lock and key and not discussed online until as close to the date as possible. And be sure to exercise security culture to the fullest degree.

Were your B&G gatherings in conjunction with the Rainbow Tribes Gatherings? The National Park Service has become Extremely Vicious to "Free Thinking" types. I may be mistaken, but I believe "anarchist" is seen as "Terrorists" ...one might try welcomehome.org there are info about new Federal Laws...
But if you want to or have spoken to the "near-immediate shut down" on podcast link me to it...would like to know more.
As an aside, You know SF Mayor Ed Lee has told the Homeless "You MUST Get off the Streets!" and they will be Swept as we used to be in San Diego, and taken away.
Since that announcement Monday I have become agoraphobic again...I am living in a Senior Apartment but people still call me a "Homeless Fuck" when I am out Busking...I play "jazz" or more like "Western Swing."
And I fear being detained because I have a Companion Cat! If it is taken to SPCA or SF Animal Control, I could not afford to get Him back!
Apparently my "Quick Reply" runs on and on....Hee Hee Hehee.
