The old Black and Green gatherings were the shit. They need to come back. This is probably going to take a few years to get off the ground again, but after the near-immediate shut down of the last one on the West Coast, it seems like they might have to happen on private land. That is kind of a double edged sword for the "owners" of that land, but it's worth kicking the idea around.
In the meantime, smaller gatherings can always suffice. Just take notice that the organization of B&G gatherings have been subject to extreme crackdowns, infiltrations, and interventions. I don't believe any arrests were ever made, but they were certainly threatened (all B&G gatherings aside from the first were held in National Forests). So things like final locations are meant to be kept under lock and key and not discussed online until as close to the date as possible. And be sure to exercise security culture to the fullest degree.
