I tend to keep up with RS's publications as they come out in Spanish. I don't think this one, dated late last month, has been translated yet, but it would be interesting to get some comments on this paragraph. The overall gist is that some sections of RS seem to work among indigenous people in Mexico, and the following is them discussing their attitudes in this regard:
Before this commentary RS states, that if DP acts like he knows communities, we hope that they know that the peoples of the hills in Mexico have been accustomed for centuries to forms of life that are seen negatively by the sick urban inhabitants of Western culture. Certain forms of life are considered "brutal" for example, trading a woman for a cow or a few pigs. For the natives this is common, it's part of their custom, their modus vivendi, and something normal, while for Western moralists (including anarchists) this is disgraceful. They get upset and cry out to Heaven when they hear people talk about this. Generally anarchists of the feminist persuasion are the ones who are most scandalized by this. RS doesn't see anything wrong with what goes on here. RS respects the development and customs of rural people. And that is why we express our agreement with the relations of power in these types of communities, because we are not concerned with trying to change then. We emphasize that we are not "machistas", but sincerely we do not oppose these types of native attitudes. This is what we think even if the anarchists are enraged that we speak like this in the end.

It should be noted that I am completing a study of ITS / RS's thought that will hopefully be available online in early May. It is a longish essay but I might have to supplement it at some point as well.
