Found this forum by accident? Wondering what Black and Green is about? Find a Black and Green Press title and curious about finding more?
You've come to the right place. Black and Green Press is an anarcho-primitivist publisher set on pressing the green anarchist critiques and milieu. It was founded in 2000 under the Black and Green Network, but through publishing pamphlets, zines and more, things swelled up into publishing book sized journals and, ultimately, books. Here's what we've got so far.
BG01: Species Traitor no 4. 2005. A 200 page insurrectionary anarcho-primitivist journal. Virtually sold out.
You can find a few copies left here: littleblackcart.com/Species-Traitor-4.html
BG02: Origins, a John Zerzan Reader. 2009. 200 pages covering Zerzan's crucial work (spanning 40 years!) uncovering the roots of civilization. If you are looking where to start with Zerzan's work or with AP thought in general, here you go. Foreword by Kevin Tucker.
Available from Oldowan Distribution and Little Black Cart.
BG03: For Wildness and Anarchy - Kevin Tucker. 2009. 300 page collection of essays by some anarcho-primitivist asshole spanning the last decade and a half.
Available from Oldowan Distribution and Little Black Cart.
BG04: Liminal: A Novella - Natasha Alvarez. 2014. Both anti-civilization activist, Natasha Alvarez's (Year of Black Clothing blog) and Black and Green Press's foray into fiction. This is an awesome little book that is the story of a mother seeking action against civilization against the backdrop of mourning, heartbreak, and love. Foreword by Kevin Tucker.
Available from Oldowan Distribution and Little Black Cart
BG05: Black and Green Review no 1. 2015. The newest AP journal pushing green anarchist discussion, critique and praxis. Absolutely crucial.
Available from Oldowan Distribution, Little Black Cart, and subscriptions are available here.
Much more to come.
